Questions

Is this another GTFS validator?

No. We run the standard validator too, but that's only the starting point. Transit Feed Hub is for managing your feed over time: keeping every version, comparing releases, applying your agency's own rules and keeping a record of what was published.

Does this replace our GTFS editor?

No. Transit Feed Hub works alongside whatever you use to build your feed, whether that's an online editor, scheduling software or spreadsheets. It tracks and reviews what that tool produces.

How does it help with compliance?

It keeps a dated history of every version and every review, and warns you before your service calendar expires. FTA expects NTD reporters with fixed-route service to keep a current GTFS feed.

Do we need to install anything?

No. It's a hosted service in a US cloud region. You sign in through a web browser.

What does it cost?

A simple monthly or annual subscription sized for small and mid-size agencies, well within typical small-purchase limits. Pilot agencies get founding pricing.

What's in the free feed review?

We load your public GTFS feed and show you what version history, comparisons and rules look like on your own data. There's no obligation.

Is our data safe?

Your feed data is encrypted in transit and at rest. GTFS is public once published, and draft versions are visible only to your team.
